Working Arrangements

The investment in your business plan is by far the least expensive item of all financial costs in obtaining your capital.

Our service fee for a complete business plan is usually between $7,500 - $12,500, depending on the amount of research and if you are a start-up or ongoing business that requires gathering of historical, operational data, plus normal out-of-pocket expenses. We can give you a firm price after we are familiar with your requirements.

We offer a 5% discount for full payment in advance. Expenses are billed as incurred.

If you do not make full payment in advance, our payment terms are 1/3 in advance, then 1/3 upon delivery of first draft, with the balance upon delivery of the final draft. Out-of-pocket expenses include supplies, printing, research costs, travel to your location, and associated expenses. These are billed weekly as incurred and are due upon receipt of our invoice.

Once we have been retained, we work as a team throughout the process. This means we will require several strategy meetings during the assignment.

When the initial draft is completed, it is submitted to you for your comments and mark-up (called black lining). As the drafts near completion we will have a number of telephone conversations to clarify the various changes throughout the process.

Before the final draft is prepared, a professional editor/proofreader reviews the document to catch typographical errors and ensure conformity from section to section. After you approve the final draft, we publish bound copies for your distribution.

If required, we can prepare presentation material such as information packets, overhead slides, and supplementary schedules. For a per-diem charge that we agree upon in advance, we will also accompany you on any presentations you make to lenders and investors.
